StylEyes is the realization of a vision by our optometrists, Dr. Heath Eckhart and Dr. Kristina Wittrock. These siblings grew up in Newton, Iowa. Both graduated from Indiana University’s highly esteemed optometry school.
After Dr. Wittrock graduated in 1995 and Dr. Eckhart graduated in 2001 they worked in separate practices in Michigan, Indiana, and Iowa. In 2008 they returned to Iowa to pursue their dream of designing and establishing StylEyes, where exceptional eye care and luxury eyewear
combine in a practice like no other in central Iowa.

Dr. Eckhart is married to Resa and has young twin daughters, Emma and Ella. Heath enjoys spending time with his family, working outdoors, and Jeeping in Utah and Colorado.

Dr. Wittrock is married to Eric and has a daughter Kathryn in elementary school at Des Moines Christian and a son Luke in preschool. She enjoys activities with her family, boating at Lake Okoboji, and traveling to new places.
